ESI and IMED Strategic Partners
ESI and IMED collaborate with CME sponsors and
medical organizations in the development and distribution of customized
continuing education programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses and
other healthcare professionals. We develop non-CME activities that include
publication development and scientific articles, retrospective data
collection and analysis, scientific advisory boards and consultant
meetings. All of our programs are underwritten by unrestricted educational
grants from the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry.

Commitment to Medical Education
IMED is proud to have established close
relationships with many respected medical organizations and government
agencies. These include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and the National
Institutes of Health (NIH). In addition, IMED (SynerMed) has produced the
Video CME Series for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and
for the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).

Tactical Implementation
IMED has extensive experience and expertise in
producing high-quality medical education programs. The programs we have
developed are designed to provide physicians, allied healthcare personnel
and patients with clinically relevant information from nationally
recognized medical experts. We have worked diligently to develop excellent
relationships with leaders in academia, clinical practice, government and
research. As a result, our programs are scientifically rigorous, accurate,
clinically relevant and beneficial to clinicians, CME Sponsors, and most importantly, to patients.

Synergistic Planning
IMED produces educational programs in a variety
of media. Some of these include audio CD's, videotapes, CD ROM's,
web-based learning programs, publications such as journal articles and
supplements, newsletters, monographs, scientific posters, and slide
lecture kits. We also plan and implement closed meetings such as
scientific advisory boards and investigator meetings, and meetings
designated for CME credit such as symposia and plenary sessions. Our
Visiting Faculty department can coordinate and manage large visiting
faculty programs.
